TREASURER

Washington is paid, to subscribe on behalf of the state for
as many shares in the Farmers Bank of Maryland as the
said sum shall amount to, &c.
    31.  Resolution directing him to purchase fifty seven copies
of the Magistrate's Guide and Citizen's Counsellor,
&c.
    32.  Resolution directing him to pay to the commissioners
appointed to superintend the erection of the penitentiary
twenty thousand dollars, &c.
    33.  Resolution authorising him to pay to the holders,
&c. of bills of exchange issued by the treasurer of the western
shore, the amount, &c.
    34.  Resolution directing him to pay to the order of the
court of Allegany county two thousand dollars, for locating
the road from Hancock to Cumberland, &c.
    35.  Resolution directing him to pay to the commissioners
of the penitentiary twenty thousand dollars, &c.
    36.  Resolution authorising him to pay to Joseph Brice
and George Howard, the sum of seventy pounds sixteen
shillings and six pence, of the bills of credit, &c.
    37.  Resolution directing him to subscribe the sum of
forty thousand dollars in the Mechanics Bank of Baltimore,
eighty thousand dollars; in the Farmers Bank of
Maryland, twenty thousand dollars; in the Hager's town
bank, of the reserved stock, &c.
    38.  Resolution directing him to pay to the commissioners
of the penitentiary three thousand dollars, &c.
    39.  Resolution directing him to purchase sixty-two
copies Landholders Assistant, &c.
    40.  Resolution authorising him to subscribe for fourteen
hundred shares in the Farmers Bank of Maryland,
for twelve hundred shares in the Mechanics Bank of
Baltimore, for two hundred and fifty shares in the Baltimore
and Frederick-town turnpike road, for two hundred
and fifty shares in the Baltimore and York-town turnpike,
&c.
    41.  Resolution authorising him to pay to the commissioners
of the penitentiary five thousand dollars, &c.
    42.  Resolution directing him to pay to the commissioners
of the penitentiary, &c. ten thousand dollars, &c.
    43.  Resolution authorising him to subscribe for two
hundred and fifty shares in the Baltimore and Frederick-town
turnpike company, one hundred and fifty shares in
the Union Manufacturing company; three hundred shares
in the Mechanics Bank of Baltimore, &c.
    44.  Resolution authorising him, in the event of the passage
of an act of congress authorising a loan, to subscribe,
&c.
    45.  Resolution authorising him to pay to the commissioners
of the penitentiary ten thousand dollars, &c.
    46.  Resolution authorising him to pay to William Kilty
sixteen hundred dollars, as a compensation for his services
in reporting the English Statutes, &c.
    47.  Resolution authorising him to receive from Robert
Watters for forty-three pounds ten shillings, &c.

in Baltimore, twenty-five thousand dollars; Hagers-town
Bank five thousand dollars; the Elkton Bank of Maryland
ten thousand dollars; Merchants and Farmers Bank of
Baltimore fifteen thousand dollars; Franklin Bank of Baltimore
fifteen thousand dollars; Maine Bank of Baltimore
ten thousand dollars, &c.
