entitled,
An act to encourage the destroying of wolves, crows and squirrels,
as relates to the
killing of crows and squirrels in Queen-Anne's county, be and is hereby
repealed,
abrogated, and made null and void, from and after the tenth day of
December next. |

CHAP. XV.
An additional supplementary ACT to the act, entitled, An act for erecting
a new
parish in Kent county, called Chester parish, and
for building a parish church,
and enlarging a chapel of ease within the said parish.
The sum of £. 360 current money,
is to be assessed on Chester parish, in November, 1770 and 1771,
and to be applied by the trustees to the finishing and
enclosing the chapel at Chester-town, and to the enclosing
the burying-ground. |

CHAP. XVI.
An ACT for the building a parish church in Queen-Anne parish in Prince-George's
county.
A quantity of tobacco, not exceeding
150,000lb. is to be assessed on the said parish, at three equal assessments,
in 1770, 1771 and 1772, to be laid out by the vestrymen
and wardens in erecting a church at
or near the place where stands the old church. |

CHAP. XVII.
An ACT to remedy a defect in the acknowledgment of a conveyance from
Josiah
Conant to William Thornton. PR. |

CHAP. XVIII.
An ACT to divide Saint John's parish in Baltimore county.
After the death or removal of the present
incumbent, Bush river upper hundred, Mine-river hundred,
North hundred, and that part of Middle river upper hundred
lying north of the road leading from the
main road from York to Baltimore, where it crosses the
south branch of Gunpowder falls at Walter Dulany's
plantation, and that part of Gunpowder upper hundred
north of the said main road leading from the
South Branch to Robert Boyce's where it intersects the
Mine-run hundred, shall be erected into a new,
distinct parish, bearing the name of St. James's parish.
And the first Easter Monday after such death or
removal, is appointed for the freeholders of the new
parish to meet at the chapel of ease, in the fork of
Gunpowder river, (which is to be their parish church)
to choose six vestrymen and two churchwardens. |

a machine for threshing of wheat, on a model by

confirm the contract made between the said Nehemiah
Tilghman and a certain
