No. 96.

 

Resolution repealing resolution number seventy-nine, of
December session, eighteen hundred and thirty one, att-
thorising the Governor and Council to appoint some per-
son or persons to supervise the printing of the report on
the Digest of the Laws.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
so much of resolution number seventy nine, of December
ssssion, eighteen hundred and thirty-one, as authorises the
Governor and Council to appoint some person or persons
to supervise the printing of the report on the Digest of the
Laws from the copy to be furnished by John Buchanan and
Reverdy Johnson, Esqrs, be and the same is hereby re-
pealed.

Resolution in favor of Randall H. Moale and others.

WHEREAS, it has been represented to this General As-
sembly, that a certain suit of sums, are now pending in Bal-
timore county court instituted against the collector employ-
ed to complete the the collection of Robert C.Asquith, late
collector of the city of Baltimore, or of certain districts
therein— Therefore,
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
all proceedings against R H. Moale and others, as securi-
ties of the said Robert C. Asquith, as collector, be and they
are hereby suspended until the first day of January next;
Provided, that nothing herein contained shall have any force
or effect, unless the assent of R. H. Moale, George Win-
chester, and Charles Hogg, be filed in writing with the
clerk of Baltimore county court, on or before the first day
of May next.
