General Laws of this State, be and the same is hereby
amended, by adding thereto the following additional
section :
SEC. — The Wages or hire of any person or per-
sons, not residing in this State, shall be subject to	Subject to at-
attachment upon judgment, warrant, or upon two	tachment
non-ests, in the same manner and to no larger extent
than the wages or hire of any person or persons, re-
sident in this State.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That this act shall take	In force
effect from its passage.

CHAPTER 231.
AN ACT to regulate the commissions to be allowed
clerks of courts for collecting, and paying over
to the Treasury public money.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That for receiving and paying over all pub-
lic money received for licenses, fines or otherwise,	Commissions
the several clerks of courts of this State, shall	of clerks
receive five per centum, except the Clerk of the
Court of Common Pleas of the City of Baltimore,
who shall receive two per centum commissions
for receiving and paying over such public money.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts of
acts inconsistent with this act, be and the same are	Repealed
hereby repealed.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take	In force
effect from the date of its passage.
