CHAPTER 123.
An Act empowering the Commissioners of Harford
County to build a Bridge over Winter's Run in said
County, at or near the place where the Road leading
from Gunpowder Neck to Belle-Air crosses said Run.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the commissioners of Harford county be, and they
are hereby authorised and empowered, to levy on the as-
sessable property of said county, a sum of money not ex-
ceeding seven hundred dollars, for the purpose of erecting
a bridge across Winter's Run. at or near the place where
said run crosses the road leading from Gunpowder Neck
to Belle- Air, if they in their judgment shall deem it ne-
cessary, and that it is expedient to build the same- and in
case the said commissioners shall deem it expedient to
build said bridge, they shall appoint commusionen to fix
upon a suitable place for erecting the same, at or near he
place aforesaid who shall report to said commissoners the
probable cost of building said bridge; and the commission-
ers of said county shall contract with some person or per-
sons for erecting said bridge, first giving notice in some
one or more newspapers printed in said county, for three
successive weeks, of the day they will receive proposals,
who shall give bond and security to the said commission-
ers for building the same in a good and substantial man-
ner, and for a sum not exceeding seven hundred dollars.

CHAPTER 124.
A Further Supplement to an act, entitled, An act to in-
corporate a Company under the name of The Notting-
ham Library Company, passed at December session
eighteen hundred and fifteen, chapter one hundred
and forty -four.

Repeal.
Subscriptions.
|
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That so much of the first section of the sup-
plement to the act to which this is a further supplement, as
restricts the Nottingham Library Company to a subscription
of one hundred shares, be and the same is hereby repealed.
Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That the said Nottingham
