Laws of Maryland of 1912.

MARYLAND, Sct.:

At a Session of the General Assembly, of Maryland, begun and
held in the City of Annapolis, on the third day of
January, 1912, His Excellency Austin L. Crothers,
being Governor of the State for and during the first
week thereof, and His Excellency Phillips Lee Golds-
borough, being Governor from and after said first
week of said Session, the following laws were enacted,
to wit:

CHAPTER 1.

AN ACT to repeal sections 48 and 55 of Article 33 of the Code
of Public* General Laws of Maryland of 1904, title "Elec-
tions," sub-title "Ballots and Ballot Boxes," as said section
48 was enacted by Chapter 416 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1910, and as said section 55 of said Article 33
was enacted by Chapter 737 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1908 and to re-enact said sections with amend-
ments, said section 48 as so re-enacted with amendments
relating to the publication of nomination to office and pro-
hibiting under penalties the publication and circulation of
sample or fac-simile ballots to be used in certain counties
and the taking into the polling place and the use of any
stencil, rule, measure or other mechanical device as an aid
in voting in certain counties.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That sections 48 and 55 of Article 33 of the Code
of Public General Laws of Maryland, title "Elections," sub-
title "Ballot and Ballot Boxes," as said section 48 was enacted
by Chapter 416. of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1910
and as the said section 55 of said Article 33 was enacted with
amendments by Chapter 737 of the Acts of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland of 1908 be and the said sections are hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as, severally and
respectively, to read as follows:
