264 ARTICLE 1A.

the center of Bedford Street to Wills Creek; beginning for the third ward
at the intersection of the Cumberland and Pennsylvania Railroad with
Bedford Street and running thence with the center of Bedford Street and
the Bedford Road northeastwardly to the city limits, and with said limits
westwardly to the Cumberland and Pennsylvania Railroad, and with said
railroad to the place of beginning; the fourth ward shall comprise all that
portion of the city bounded on the west by Wills Creek and lying between
Bedford Street and Baltimore Street and the Baltimore Turnpike to the
eastern limits of the city; beginning for the fifth ward, at the intersec-
tion of Baltimore Street and Wills Creek, and running with Baltimore
Street and the Baltimore Turnpike to the eastern limits of said city, and
with said limits to the Williams Road, and with said road to the Balti-
more and Ohio Railroad, thence by a straight line with the center line
of said Williams Road extended to the Potomac River and with said
river and creek to the beginning; and the sixth ward shall contain all that
portion of the city lying south of the fifth ward and east of the Potomac
River.

9.* The Wards of the City of Cumberland shall be divided into pre-
cincts, as follows:

The First Ward of the City of Cumberland shall be divided into two
precincts, as follows:

Ward No. 1, Precinct No. 1—Comprising all that part of Ward No. 1
bounded by Wills Creek on the east, the Potomac River on the South and
the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad on the north and west.

Ward No. 1, Precinct No. 2—Comprising all that part of Ward No. 1
bounded on the east by the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad and the Potomac
River, and on the south by the Potomac River, on the west by the city
limits, and on the north by Wills Creek.

The Second Ward of the City of Cumberland shall be divided into two
precincts, as follows:

Ward No. 2, Precinct No. 1—Comprising all that part of Ward No. 2
beginning at the intersection of Bedford Street (commonly called Hill
Street) with Wills Creek, and running thence up said Wills Creek to the
Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Viaduct, and with it northerly to Viaduct
Junction, still with said railroad easterly to the center line of Bedford
Street, and with the center line of said Bedford Street southerly to the
beginning.

Ward No. 2, Precinct No. 2—Comprising all that part of Ward No. 2
beginning at Wills Creek and the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Viaduct,
and running thence with Wills Creek to the city limits, which is called
the Wharf Branch of the Cumberland & Pennsylvania Railroad; and with
said Branch, it being also the city limits, northerly to the Baltimore &
