Mr. Hayes, from a Select Committee, reported fav-
orably, the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend and change the
Legislative district lines of the Second and Third Leg-
islative Districts of Baltimore city, as now defined by
an ordinance by the Mayor and City Council of Balti-
more, No. 36, approved April 6th, 1882, and passed in
conformity with requirements of an Act of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, chapter 2, passed at the
January Session of 1882, entitled an Act to provide
for the redivision of the city of Baltimore into election
precincts, wards and Legislative districts, and section
3, of chapter 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title

'City of Baltimore,' sub-title "Mayor and City
Council."

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Board
of Police Commissioners of Baltimore city to employ
an additional clerical officer, to be known as the "As-
sistant to the Secretary of the Board."

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to appro-
priate a sum of money to pay for the use of a suitable
building to be occupied by the members of the Yet-
eran Volunteer Firemen's Association of Baltimore

city.

House bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 4, of the Public Local Laws, title
"Baltimore City," sub-title "Condemnations," to be
known as "Section 148 A."

Which were read the second time.

Mr. Bennett, from a Seleet Committee, reported fav-
orably,

House bill to amend the charter of the city of West-
minster, in Carroll county.
