            JOSEPH KENT, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR.

and to the person and property of Margaret Ludden his wife,
shall henceforth cease and determine, and the said Lemuel
Ludden shall not be liable for any debts hereafter contracted by
the said Margaret Ludden; and the said Margaret Ludden is
hereby deprived of all claim in or to the property of the said
Lemuel Ludden.

    Capability
granted.
    2.  And be it enacted, That the said Margaret Ludden shall
be, and she is hereby declared capable to have, hold, take, receive,
sue for and recover by compromise, suit or suits in law
or equity, property of any kind whether real, personal or mixed,
in as full and ample a manner as if she were a feme sole, and to
hold, use and enjoy the same for her own use and benefit, and
the same to dispose of according to her will and pleasure, without
the let, hindrance, molestation, interference or consent of
her husband in as full and ample a manner as if she were a
feme sole, and may in her own name, sue and be sued at law
and in equity, in the same manner as if she were a feme sole.

                                            CHAPTER 226.

       An act for the relief of Hannah Bostetter, or Washington County.

Title and capability
granted.
    Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That 
the said Hannah Bostetter, shall be, and she is hereby declared
to be vested with the title to all and every kind of property, real,
personal and mixed, now in her possession, in as full and ample
a manner as if she were an always had been a feme sole,
she is hereby declared capable to have, hold, take, receive, sue for,
and recover by compromise, suit or suits in law or equity, property
of any kind whatever, real, personal or mixed, in as full
and ample a manner as if she were a feme sole, and to use and
enjoy, or dispose of the same at her will and pleasure, and may
in her own name, sue and be sued, as if she were a feme sole.
Liability annulled.     2.  And be it enacted, That the said Henry Bostetter shall
not be liable for any debts to be hereafter contracted by the
said Hannah Bostetter.

                                            CHAPTER 227.

An act to divorce Nicholas Hetzelberger, and Amelia, his wife, of the
                                            City of Baltimore.

Divorce.     Sec. 1.  Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, 
That Nicholas Hetzelberger, of the city of Baltimore, be, and
he is hereby divorced from bed, board and mutual cohabitation,
with his wife Amelia Hetzelberger.
Claim annulled.     2.  And be it enacted, That all property, either real or personal,
which the said Nicholas Hetzelberger may hereafter acquire,
shall be held, possessed and enjoyed by the said Nicholas
