CERTIFICATE

STATE OF MARYLAND

OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE
To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:

I, DAVID C. WlNEBRBNNER, 3D, SECRETARY OF STATE OF

THE STATE OF MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction con-
tained in Chapter 441 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of 1922, Do HEREBY CERTIFY, That at the Gen-
eral Election held in this State on Tuesday, November 8th,
1932, an Act, known as Chapter 318 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1931, was submitted to the voters of
Washington County for their adoption or rejection, under
the provisions of Article 16 of the Constitution of the State,
said Act being:

An Act to add a new section to Article 22 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 edition),
title "Washington County," sub-title "County Com-
' missioners," said new section to be known as Section
149A and to follow immediately after Section 149 of
said Article, authorizing and directing the County
Commissioners of Washington County to pay to the
Mayor and Council or the Burgess and Commis-
sioners of the incorporated cities and towns in said
county certain sums of money for the repair, main-
tenance and/or improvement of streets and roads.

AND I Do CERTIFY, That at said election 7,022 votes were
cast in favor of the adoption of said Chapter 318 of the Acts
of 1931, and 9,188 votes were cast against the adoption of
said Act, in Washington County; and a majority being
against the adoption thereof, it was thereby rejected and
repealed by the voters of said County.

IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto sub-
scribed my name and affixed hereto my
Official Seal, at the City of Annapolis, this
25th day of November, 1932.
