1372 CERTIFICATE OF SECRETARY OF STATE.

STATE OF MARYLAND
OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE
To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:

I, DAVID C. WlNEBRENNER, 3D, SECRETARY OF STATE OF

THE STATE OF MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction con-
tained in Chapter 441 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of 1922, Do HEREBY CERTIFY, That at the Gen-
eral Election held in this State on Tuesday, November 8th,
1932, an Act, known as Chapter 510 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1931, was submitted to the voters of
Cecil County for their adoption or rejection, under the pro-
visions of Article 16 of the Constitution of the State, said
Act being:

An Act to authorize and direct the Board of County
Commissioners of Cecil County to borrow upon the
faith and credit of said county to the amount of one
million dollars ($1,000,000), and to issue and sell
'bonds maturing annually therefor, the proceeds
thereof to be used by the State Roads Commission
of Maryland for the construction and improvement
of roads and bridges in said county; to create a
board to be known as the Road Auxiliary Bo'ard of
Cecil County and defining its powers and duties; to
provide for an annual levy on the assessable property
of Cecil County to pay interest and principal on said
bonds when due.

AND I Do CERTIFY, That at said election 604 votes were
cast in favor of the adoption of said Chapter 510 of the
Acts of 1931, and 5,553 votes were cast against the adoption
of said Act, in Cecil County; and a majority being against
the adoption thereof, it was thereby rejected and repealed
by the voters of said county.

IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto sub-
scribed my name and affixed hereto my
Official Seal, at the City of Annapolis, this
25th day of November, 1932.
