of Ratification of outrages committed in Baltimore city, and in
their opinion that the Legislature should adjourn forthwith sine
die.

All of which were severally read, and laid on the table.

Mr. Nuttle presented the petition of R. C. Carter, J. B. Foun-
tain, and other citizens of Caroline county, asking for an adjourn-
ment of the Legislature sine die.

Which was read, and laid on the table.

Mr. Grahame presented the memorial of John Sullivan & Sons,
and forty other merchants of Baltimore, for the repeal of the law
appointing Commissioners to sell the State Tobacco Warehouses,
in the city of Baltimore.

Which was read, and referred to a special committee, consist-
ing of Messrs. Grahame, Duvall and Franklin.

Mr. Smith presented the following:

Memorial of A. H. Brosby, John H. Bowers, and other citizens
of Carroll county, praying an immediate adjournment of the Le-
gislature sine die.

Memorial of Francis N. Mills, John T. Diffinbaugh, and
nineteen other citizens of Carroll county, praying an immediate
adjournment of the Legislature sine die.

Memorial of J. G. Capito, Joshua Yingling, and fifty other
citizens of Carroll county, praying an immediate adjournment of
the Legislature sine die.

Memorial of Reuben Cassell, Rufus W. Grouse, and other
citizens of Carroll county, praying an immediate adjournment of
the Legislature sine die.

Memorial of H. N. Brinkman, J. W. Bosingfurnrie, and three
hundred other citizens of Carroll county, praying an immediate
adjournment of the Legislature sine die.

All of which were severally read, and laid on the table.

Mr. Goldsborough, of Talbot, presented the petition of Samuel
Hatubleton, Alfred P. Jump, and sundry other citizens of Eas-
ton, Talbot county, praying the donation of books to the Library
Association of Eastern, in said county.

Which was read, and referred to the Committee on the Library.

Mr. Kimmel presented the memorial of G. W. Crum, E. Sani-
ker, H. H. Etchison, A. Dure, J. M. Little, D. J. Herring, and
one hundred and fifty-five other citizens of Frederick county,
