WICOMICO COUNTY

Article III, titled "Minimum Design Standards" more specifically Section 200-11
entitled "Streets".

WHEREAS, upon the favorable recommendation of the Wicomico County
Planning and Zoning Commission, it appears advisable to amend the aforesaid sections
of the Subdivision Chapter of the Wicomico County Code, to clarify the requirements
pertaining to the location, functional classification, planning and design of streets in
subdivisions, related improvements required for said streets and the payment of the
costs of required improvements.

AN ACT to amend Chapter 200 of the Wicomico County Code, titled "Subdivision
of Land", by repealing and reenacting Article I, "General Provisions," Section 200-1,
entitled "Authority; Purpose," and Section 200-2, entitled "Legislative Intent."

WHEREAS, it appears, upon the favorable recommendation of the Wicomico
County Planning and Zoning Commission, advisable to amend the aforesaid Sections of
the Subdivision Chapter of the Wicomico County Code, to clarify the authority, purpose
and intent of the Subdivision Regulations.

AN ACT to adopt the Wicomico County Chesapeake Bay Critical Area Program
as approved by the Chesapeake Bay Critical Area Commission on September 6th, 1989,
and to amend Chapter 225 entitled "Zoning", Section 225-111 entitled "Conflict With
Other Laws" and Chapter 200, entitled "Subdivision of Land", Section 200-27, entitled
"Final approval required; streets on Master Plan", is hereby amended by the addition
of Subparagraph C, as hereinafter set forth:
