by Chapter 212 of the Acts of 1904, the same having
received the recommendation of the treasurv officials of the
State.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 341.
AN ACT to revive and renew the charter of the Farmers'
Market Company of Baltimore City, organized under the
General Laws of this State and amended by the Act of
1896, Chapter 221.
WHEREAS, The Farmers' Market Company of Baltimore

city was heretofore organized under the general laws of this
State on the 26th day of February, in the year 1896; and
WHEREAS, Subsequently, by the Act of 1896, Chapter 221,
the said charter was amended; and
WHEREAS, Said company failed to pay the taxes mentioned
in the Act of 1900, Chapter 272, and by reason thereof it is
conclusively presumed to have surrendered all its corporate
or charter rights; and
WHEREAS, The said company is desirous of paying all said
taxes which might have been required of it under the laws of
this State and said last-named Act of Assembly, up to the date
of its beginning business, and of being relieved from the pre-
sumption of surrender required by said Act of Assembly and
of having its said charter and the said amendment thereof
renewed and revived and made as valid and effective as though
said company had heretofore complied with all the require-
ments of law with respect thereto; therefore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That the Farmers' Market Company of Baltimore city
shall be and same is hereby relieved from the presumption
of having surrendered its corporate or charter rights incurred
under the Act of 1900, chapter 272; provided, that within
three months from the passage of this Act the said company
shall pay to the Treasurer of this State all franchise and
other taxes of every sort which might have been required of
it from the date of its original incorporation up to the date
