CHAPTER 343.

AN ACT to declare the consent and sanction of the General
Assembly of Maryland to the grants and conveyances by
Upton B. Brooke to the Yestry of Queen Anne's Parish and
the Vestry of St. Barnabas Church, Queen Anne's Parish,
in Prince George's County, Maryland, of certain lands
and tenements in Prince George's County, Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That the consent and sanction of the General Assembly
of Maryland is hereby given to the grant and conveyance by
Upton B. Brooke to the vestry of Queen Anne's parish,
Prince George's county, of Maryland, of a tract of land con-
taining four (4) acres, one (1) rood and twenty-nine (29)
perches situate in said county, as per deed dated July 22,
1880, and recorded in Liber W. A. J. No. 1, folio 592, and
to the grant and conveyance by said Upton B. Brooke of
three acres situate in said county to said vestry of St. Bar-
nabas Church, Queen Anne's parish, Prince George's county,
Maryland, as per deed dated February 26, 1906, and recorded
in Liber No. 27, folio 255, of the land record books of said
county of Prince George's.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
Approved April, 3, 1906.

CHAPTER 344.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the Mayor and Council
of Pocomoke City, in Worcester County, to issue and sell
coupon bonds of said town to an amount not to exceed ten
thousand dollars, and to apply the proceeds of sale thereof
to the purchase of a lot and the erection of a City Hall
building thereon, and to apply any balance to improve-
ments to the sewers and streets of the town, and to pro-
vide for the levy and collection of town taxes to pay the
interest and principal of said bonds.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That for the purpose of building a city hall in said
town, and for other purposes hereinafter set forth, the Mayor
