SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the fire marshal shall, at
the request of the Board of Fire Commissioners of the city
of Baltimore or the County Commissioners of any county, or
the municipal authorities of any incorporated city or town in
this State, make to them a written report of the examination
made by him regarding any fire happening within their respec-
tive jurisdictions.

Reports.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty of each
fire insurance company or association doing business in this
State, within ten days after the adjustment of any loss sus-
tained by it. to report to the fire marshal, upon blanks by him
furnished, such information regarding the amount of insurance,
the value of the property insured and the amount of claim as
adjusted, as in the judgment of said tire marshal it is necessary
for him to know.

SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 249.

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Allegany
County to issue bonds to the amount of $100,000, to provide
the means for the building and furnishing a new court house
for said county.

Effective.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Allegany county
be and they are hereby authorized to issue the coupon bonds
of said county, to an amount not exceeding one hundred
thousand dollars, and to sell the same at not less than par, and
to apply the proceeds thereof to the building and furnishing
of the new court house now being erected at Cumberland, the
county seat of said county.

May issue
bonds.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That said bonds shall be denom-
inated "Allegany County Court House Bonds," and shall bear
interest at a rate not exceeding five per cunt, per annum, pay-
able semi-annually on the first days of April and October in
