CHAPTER 48.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 97-T, 97-V and 97-W, of Article 21
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title " Talbot

... County," sub-title "Easton," as passed by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland at the January Session of 1906, Chapter 458.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 97-T, 97-V and 97-W, of Article 21 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Talbot County,"
sub-title "Easton," as passed by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, at the January Session of 1906, Chapter 458, be and the
same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

Approved March 10th, 1914.

CHAPTER 49.

AN ACT for the better protection of fish in certain streams of
Garrett County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall be unlawful for any person or persons to
kill, take or catch in any manner whatever any brook trout or
other trout from or in any of the streams of said Garrett
County, which have been stocked with brook or other trout, or
which have had said fish placed therein from the State Fish
Hatchery, for the period of two years from the first day of
April, 1914.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That it shall be unlawful
for any person or persons who are non-residents of the State of
Maryland to take, catch or kill in any manner whatsover any
fish in any of the streams of said Garrett County, without first
having applied to the Clerk of the Circuit Court of said Garrett
County and procure a license so to do and paying therefor the
sum of Five Dollars, which said license shall be good and valid
for one year from the date thereof.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That any person or per-
sons violating any of the provisions of the two preceding Sec-
tions shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon convic-
tion thereof before any Justice of the Peace of said Garrett
County, or in any Circuit Court thereof, shall be fined not less
than Five Dollars nor more than Fifty Dollars for each offense,
