   1829.                                                                             RESOLUTIONS.


in Harford county, called " Common Garden Corrected;" and
whereas, the said tract of land has been lately advertised to
be sold under a decree of the High Court of Chancery, as
being land of which a certain William Osborn, deceased, died
seized; therefore,

    Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Treasurer of the Western Shore be, and he is hereby directed
to give immediate public notice, in such manner as he may
think proper, that the state has an unsettled claim to said tract
of land.

A Resolution in favor of Martin Bourke and Thomas Morgan.

    Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That all prosecutions
in Washington county court against Martin Bourke
and Thomas Morgan, for retailing merchandize without a
license, be, and the same are hereby ordered and directed to be
discountinued, they having had at the time presentments were
made against them, a pedlar's license, for which they paid
forty dollars, and have since obtained a traders license, and
paid the sum of twelve dollars for the same.
