the Lord prop.ry of this Province his heirs and Successors in the
Sume of five pound Sterl. to be made and leveyed of their Goods and
Chattles Lands and Tenements Conditionally that if Rice Jones Should
not make his personall appearance at the then next Court to be held
for the County afd at the Court house in the Town of Chester in the
Same County on the third Tuesday of March then next ensuing
to answer to an Indictment found against him for Committing fornication
and that in the meantime he Should ^be^ of good Behaviour the
s.d Rice not appearing at the afd March Court y.e same Recognizances
were Respited untill this Court and now here at this Court the s.d Rice
haveing appeared y.e s.d Recognizances are Discharged.

Surety for the afd John Coleman on the seventyeth
Day of August Anno Domini one thousand Seven
hundred and twenty three did acknowledge himselfe
to Stand Indebted unto the Right Honourable the Lord prop.ry of this
Provinces of Maryland & Avalon Lord Barron of Baltimore &c.a his
heirs and Successors in the Just Sume of Tenn pounds Sterl money of Great
Brittain to bemade and Leveyed of his Goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements
Conditionally that if John Coleman Should not make his personall
appearance at the then next Ensueing then and there to Answer unto his
Said Lordship on an Indictment found against ^him^ for Stealing a horse and
Stand and bide the Determination of the same Court thereupon and if in the
mean time the s.d John Sho^u^ ld not be of good Behaviour where with the afd
Ashbury Sutton did then acknowledge himself to be Content.

    Att which s.d November Court to wit the Nineteenth Day of s.d Month
Anno Domini one thousand Seven hundred and twenty three the Day of
appearance to the s.d Recognizance the afd John Coleman being solemnly
Called to appear According to the Tenor thereof Cometh not but makes Default
whereby the same Recognizance became lyable to be forfeited but at the
prayer of the afd Ashbury Sutton the same was Respited unto the then ensueing
March Court and from the same March Court unto this Psent June Court
