    And the afd Charles Neal in his proper person Cometh and Saith that he is
in no Sort guilty of the premisses above upon him Imposed as by the afd Information
it is alledged and thereof he putteth himself upon the Country

    And he who followeth for the Lord prop.ry in like manner Saith he is
guilty                                                        T francis p Lord prop.ry

    Thereupon Command was given unto the Sher of Kent County that he
Immediatly Cause to Come here twelve &c.a by whome &c.a who neither &c.a
to Recognize &c.a because as well &c.a of which s.d precept the s.d Sher to wit
John Gresham Esq.r now here at this Day to wit the Sixteenth Day of
August Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and twenty Six makes Return
that he hath here ready twelve &c.a as by his precept he was Commanded
And now here afterwards to wit the Day and year last mentioned Come
again the afd Lord prop.ry by Tench Francis his Clk of Indictments and
the afd Charles Neale in his proper person and the Jurors of that Jury
being Impannelled and Called likewise Came to wit Thomas Piner, W.m Crow
Thomas Hynson Sen.r Joseph Reed Arthur Foreman W.m Dean, W.m
Woodland, John Hart, John Brookes Sam.l Norris, James [     ], Griffith
Jones who being Duely Elected tryed and Sworn to Say the truth on the
premisses upon their oaths Do say that the afd Charles Neal is in no
Sort Guilty of the fornication in the Information afd Expressed And
Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit at the Court house in the
Town of Chester in s.d County this Sixteenth Day of August Anno Domini
Seventeen hundred and twenty Six that the afd Charles Neal as to the
Information afd he go thereof without Day and be therefrom acquitted
also it is Considered that the s.d Charles Neal pay the Sume of Nine hundred
and Seventy pounds of Tob.o Costs Accrueing on the premisses afd to y.e officers
of this Court

    John Wooddall of Kent County planter Comes into Court and assumes to
pay the fees in the Judgment afd Specified amounting to y.e Sume of Nine
hundred and Seventy pounds of Tob.o and thereupon y.e s.d Cha.s Neal is there
from acquitted

    The afd Charles Neal being Comitted into y.e Custody of the Sher of Kent Coty
for his appearance to y.e Inform.n afd and Good behaviour ^and^ now y.e afd Charles
haveing appeared he is Discharged from s.d Commitment
