Maurice Carty
 It is Alleadged to the Court there that the s.d Maurice
keeps a Disorderly publick House And W.m Murphy
being Sworn Says that Friday Night was sonnet
at the s.d Maurices House and played at Cards with W.m
Carman & lost Some money and the s.d Maurice went Carmans halves
And upon hearing of Severall other Complaints Upon which he is ordered that
he be Supprest from keeping Ordinary and have Licence no Longer

    Ordered by the Court here that the afd Maurice Carty Enter into Recog.c
with Good Security for his appearance at next Court to answer unto what Shall
be objected against him for keeping A Disorderly publick House And in the mean
time to be of good behaviour

    Thereupon Maurice Carty of Kent County Innholder present herein Court in his
proper person Doth acknowledge himself Indebted unto the Right Honourable
the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland &c.a in the Sume of ten pounds
Sterling Sterling money of Great Brittain to be made and Leveyed of his goods and
Chattels Lands & Tenements for the use of the s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs and Successors
Conditionally that if the same Maurice shall not make his personal appearance
before the Justices of our next Court to be held for the County afd at the Courthouse in y.e
Town of Chester in the Same County on the third Teusday of March next Ensueing
to answer unto what Shall be objected against him the Same Maurice
for keeping a Disorderly publick House and if that in the mean time he Shall
not be of good behaviour wherewith the s.d Maurice Doth Acknowledge himself
to be Content                                                        also

    John Wilson Innholder and James Watson planter both of Kent County &
present herein Court in their proper persons Do acknowledge themselves Indebted
unto the Right Honourable the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland
&c.a in the sume of  five pounds Sterling money of Great Brittain to be made
and Leveyed of their Several Goods & Chattels Lands and Tenements for the use
of the s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs and Successors Conditionally that if y.e afd
Maurice Carty Shall not make his personal appearance before the Justices
of the next Court to be held for the County afd at the Courthouse in the Town of Chester
in the same County on the third Teusday of March next Ensueing to Answer unto
what Shall be objected against him the same Maurice for keeping a Disorderly
publick House and if that in the mean time he the same Maurice shall
not be of Good Behav.r wherewith the same John Wilson & Ja.s Watson
