    And the afd Jane Currey in her proper person Comes & Defends the force
and Injury when &c.a and saith that She Cannot ^gainsay^ the Indictment afd
as afd against her brought nor Can She Say but that She is Guilty
of the premisses above upon her Imposed as by the afd Indictment
it is alledged and thereupon Submits to y.e Court

    Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit at y.e Court house in
the Town of Chester in s.d County this fifteenth Day of June Anno
Dom. Seventeen hundred and twenty five that the afd Jane Currey
pay the Sume of Six hundred pounds of Tobacco as a fine for
the afd Crime of Comitting fornication in form afd Confest to be
applyed to the use of this County according to Act of Assembly in that
Case made & provided as also the Sume of two hundred and thirty two
pounds of Tobacco Costs Accrueing on the premisses afd to y.e officers of
this Court                                                                    Jam.s Smith Clk

    Ordered by the Court here that the afd Jane Currey give Security for her
fine and fees above Specifyed

    Thereupon D.r Richard Simonds of Kent County Comes into Court
and assumes to pay her fine & fees above Specifyed in y.e afd Judgment
and thereupon the same Jane Currey is therefrom Discharged
