Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in August being the Eighteenth day of Said Month
Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and thirty  That the afd John Griffith pay the Sum
of One Thousand pounds of Tobacco as a fine to the use of the ffree School of Said
County for his Committing the offence afd according to Act of Assembly in Such case
lately made and provided &c.a  And also pay the Sum of One hundred and fifteen
pounds of Tobacco Costs accrueing on the premisses afd to the officers of this Court

    Ordered by the Court here that Joseph Young Gent Sherf of Kent County keep y.e afd
John Griffith in Custody untill y.e fine and fees afd Shall be Satisfied

here that y.e Same be disch.d &c.a  Thomas Gresham afd in the Sume of fifty pounds
Sterl is by this Court here disch.d no person Shewing any cause to the Contrary And
John Gresham his Securety in the Sume of fifty pounds Sterl also is by this Court
here discharged

The afd Joseph Sanders at last June Court entered into
Recognizance for his appearance to this p.rsent Court to answer
unto an Indictm.t of felony for Stealing three ^finish^ Shirts of the
goods and Chattles of a Certain Thomas Hatchenson &c.a  The afd
Joseph Sanders in the Sume of twenty pounds Sterl his Recognizance and the Cort and
Ellis Foux of Kent County planter in the Sume of twenty pounds Sterl his Recognizances
Security for the afd Joseph Sanders that he Should appear and answer the Indictm.t
afd        And now here at this Court to wit at the Court house in the Town of Chest.r in said
County on the third tuesday in August being the Eighteenth day of Said Month Anno Dom.
Seventeen hundred and Thirty att which time the afd Joseph Sanders was according
to the tenour of his Said Recognizance and his Suretys obliged to appear and inform
&c.a  And proclamation being made accordingly For that the Same Joseph Sanders
being Solemnly called to appear to Save the forfeiture of his Recognizance and his
Suretys Recogniz.c as afd  But no person appearing appearing to Shew any
cause &c.a  Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit the Same
day & year last mentioned  That the afd Joseph Sanders Recognizance in
the Sum of Twenty pounds Sterl be forfeitted to the use of the Right hon.ble
the Lord prop.ry his heires & Successors And also The afd Ellis Foux the Security
of the afd Joseph Sanders in the Sume of twenty pounds Sterling his Recogniz.c
afd be forfeitted to the use of the Right hon.rble the Lord prop.ry his heires &
Successors &c.a
