is guilty of feloniously Stealing the Hogg afd as he Stands indicted and by
Thomas Christian there foreman all So Say

    The Same John Jones being called to here the Judgment against him
on the verdict of the Jurors afd But the Said John Jones Runing away from
the barr the Same was Continued by the Court on a ______________

    And for as much as the afd John Jones could not be had to answer the
verdict afd untill this Court to wit at Kent County at the Court House in the
Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in June being the
Eighteenth day of Said Month Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven
hundred and thirty four Came the afd John Jones and appeared at
the barr and was ordered to hold up his hand And the verdict of the Jurors
afd being read to him was asked if he was the same person as the same
Jury had found guilty answered he was then was asked if he had
any thing to Say why Judgment should not pass against him on
the Verdict of the Jurors afd says that he hath nothing to offer why
the Court Should not give Judgment against him on the Verdict afd

    Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit the Same
day and year last mentioned That the afd John Jones stands in
the pillory half an hour and then to have on his bare back twenty
Lashes well laid on till the blood appear at the publick whipping post
and to pay the four fold of the hogg afd of the Value of Ten Shill.s
Current money which four fold amounts to forty Shill.s and also
that he pay the sum of Nine hundred and Seventeen
pounds of Tobacco costs accrueing on the premisses afd to the officers
of this Court

    It is also Considered by the Court here at this day to wit the
day and year last mentioned That John Gresham Gentl. Sherrif of
Kent County take the afd John Jones into his Custody and Execute the
punishment in the Judgment afd specified and afterwards to bring
him into Court againe of which precept to wit John Gresham
Sherriff of Kent County makes return on the day & Year last Said
That he hath Executed the punishment in the Judgment afd and
also hath here the Said John Jones before the Court

    And now here came the afd John Jones and John Gresham Gentl.
Sherrif of Kent County being present This Court orders that the
Same John Jones be kept in Safe Custody untill he Shall give
good Security for his appearance at next Court to be held for Kent
