Indebted to the Right honourable the Lord proprietarie in the Sum of tenn
pounds Sterl to be Leveyed on his goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements
the use of his Said Lordship his heires and Successors Conditionally that
he Shall not make his personall appearance at the next Court to be held
for Said County On the Third tuesday in March next to give Evid.cs on his

 Kent County fs The Jurors for the right hon.ble the
Lord proprietarie that now is for the body of Kent County
afd upon their Oath do present that Catherine Bullock
late of S.t pauls parish in the County afd Spinster the
tenth day of October Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred
twenty and eight with force and arms at the parish afd in the County afd
within the jurisdiscon of this Court one white Linnen Apron of the Value
of thirty pounds of Tobacco one Silk Muslin handkerchiefe of the Value
of twenty pounds of Tobacco one Muslin handkerchiefe of the Value of
forty pounds of Tobacco one black Silk head of the Value of one hundred
pounds of Tobacco and Suite of Muslin head cloaths of the Value of
eighty pounds of Tobacco of the goods and Chattles of a Certain John
Harris then and there being found then and there feloniously did steal take
and bear away contrary to the peace of the Said Lord propry that now is
his good rule and Governm.t and against the form of the Act of Assembly
in Such Case lately made and provided

and Saith that She is not in no Sort guilty of the premises above upon
her imposed as by the afd Indictm.t it is alledged and thereof She puteth
herselfe upon the Country

    Thereupon Command was given to the Sherf of Kent County that
he Immediately cause to come here twelve &c.a By whom &c.a who
neither &c.a To Recognize &c.a Because as well &c.a of which Said pcept
the Said Sherf to wit Joseph Young Gent now here at this day to wit the
Eighteenth day of Novemb.r Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred
twenty and Nine makes return that he hath here ready twelve &c.a as
by his precept he was Commanded and now here afterwards to wit
the day and Year last mentioned come againe the afd Catherine
Bullock as the Right honourable the Lord proprietarie by Tench
Francis Clerk of the Indictments of this Court and the Jurors of that
Jury being Impanelled and Called likewise came to wit William
