Luber, of the Fifth District of Baltimore City, Mr. Charles Carroll,
of Howard County, was placed in nomination for Speaker pro tem.

There being no further nominations for the office of Speaker pro
tem, Mr. Charles Carroll, of Howard County, was elected Speaker
