STATE OF MARYLAND, To WIT :

This being the day appointed by the Governor for a Special
Session of the General Assembly, at Eleven O'clock A. M., Mr.
John A. Menton, Chief Clerk of the House of Delegates for the
regular session of 1945, called the House to order and, after a
prayer by the Honorable Jonahan Sleeman, of Allegany County,
the Beading Clerk called the roll and the following members
