with the Constitution and laws of this State relating to
elections to the Senate and House of Delegates.

308. If it shall appear from the results of said election
that a majority of the votes in any election district are
against the sale of alcoholic beverages in the manner in-
dicated by the questions submitted, no license for such sale
shall thereafter be granted for any place of business located
within the limits of such district. If it shall appear from
the results of said election that a majority of the votes are
in favor of the sale of alcoholic beverages in the manner
indicated by the questions submitted, then a license may be
issued for the sale of such beverages within such district in
the manner and subject to the terms, conditions and re-
strictions provided by Chapter —— of the Acts of the
Extraordinary Session of the General Assembly of 1933.
The result of the election to be held in accordance with this
Act shall become effective on May 1st, 1935.

309. A petition for submission of any of the above
questions shall be in substantially the following form:

"To the Board of Supervisors of Elections of Talbot
County":

The undersigned, legal voters of Talbot County, respect-
fully petition that you cause to be submitted, in the man-
ner provided by law, to the voters of the respective election
districts of Talbot County at the next election the following
questions:

(Here insert questions)

Name of Voter: Place where registered:

A petition may consist of several sheets but each sheet
shall be supported by an affidavit by a resident and voter
of Talbot County stating that the signatures on that sheet
are genuine and that to the best of his knowledge and belief
the person signing the same are legal voters of Talbot
County. Where the petition consists of more than one
sheet all sheets shall be fastened together and filed with the
Supervisors of Elections at the same time.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on June 1st, 1934.
