1442 JOINT RESOLUTIONS.
WHEREAS, Such moving pictures tend to undermine and de-
stroy the moral fiber of our citizens, both young and old; and
WHEREAS, The Maryland State Board of Censors has failed
to prevent the exhibition of such moving pictures; now there-
fore be it
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That we
do hereby condemn the exhibition of all indecent, vicious and
salacious moving pictures which tend to undermine and destroy
the moral character of the people of this State; and be it further
Resolved, That the Maryland State Board of Censors be and
it is hereby requested to prohibit the exhibition in the State
of Maryland of all moving pictures having a plot, tone or char-
acter which is degrading, indecent or salacious and which tend
to glorify vice and marital infidelity and to make light of all
high ideals; and be it further
Resolved, That notice is hereby given to said Board that if
it cannot or will not prohibit the exhibition of such moving
pictures, that this Assembly will pass legislation at its next
session which will prohibit the exhibition of all such moving
pictures in this State.

A Joint Resolution requesting the State Roads Commission
and such other person or persons as the Governor may ap-
point to investigate the practicability of bridges across the
Lower Potomac and Chop-tank Rivers.
WHEREAS, The joint sub-committee of the Senate Finance
and House Ways and Means Committee has offered a joint
resolution requesting and directing the State Roads Commis-
sion, supplemented by such other assistance, if any, as the
Governor may deem advisable, to investigate thoroughly the
practicability of a bridge or tunnel across the Chesapeake Bay;
