DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at the General Election held in this
State on Tuesday, November 5, 1940, An Act, known as Chapter
732 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1939, was submitted
to the voters of the State of Maryland for their adoption or re-
jection, under provisions of Article 16 of the Constitution of
the State, said Act being1:

An Act to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
1, 2, 5 and 6 of Article 101 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1935 Supplement), title "Workmen's Com-
pensation, " sub-title "State Industrial Accident Com-

AND i DO CERTIFY, That at said election 127, 754 votes were
cast in favor of the adoption of said Chapter 732 of the Acts
of 1939, and 70, 580 votes were cast against the adoption of
said Act, in the State of Maryland; and a majority being in
favor of the adoption thereof, it was thereby ratified by the
voters of said State, and is effective December 5, 1940.
