LAWS OF MARYLAND.

Adams, late of Prince George's county, deceased, to have
the same kept together and worked for the purpose of pay-
ing the debts of the said deceased — therefore,

CHAP. 248.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That it shall be lawful for the administrator of
Littleton T. Adams, late of Prince George's county, de-
ceased, with the consent of the securities on his adminis-
tration bond, and of the widow and guardian of the infant
children of said deceased, to be filed in the orphans court
of said county, to work the real and personal estate of said
deceased, and to take and receive all the rents, issues and
profits thereof, and apply the nett proceeds to paying the
debts of the said deceased.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That nothing in this act shall
interfere with, lesson or impair, the responsibility of the
said administrator or of the securities on his bond as ad-
ministrator,

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That nothing in this act shall
in any manner interfere with the rights of the creditors of
the said deceased, but any part of the said estate shall be
and remain liable therefor, in the same manner as if this act

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the said rents, issues
and profits, shall be deemed and taken as personal estate,
and shall be accounted for as such, by the administrator of
said deceased, and be considered within the condition of
the administration bond.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the said estate shall not
be worked under the authority of this act, unless the or-
phans court of said county shall consider, that it would be
advantageous to the persons concerned therein, and shall
pass an order directing the same to be worked as hereby
authorised, and only so long as the said court shall deem
expedient and direct, and the said court shall make a rea-
sonable allowance for expenses and commission, not ex-
ceeding ten per cent for working said estate, and also a
reasonable allowance for the maintenance of the widow and
children of the said deceased, to be paid out of the said
rents, issues and profits.
