ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY & HOWARD DIS-

TRICT. — The clerks of, before granting licenses, &c. to

any trader or retailer, to examine the person

applying on oath whether the person apply-

ing for the same intends said license for his

own use, or for the use of another; and the

clerk shall not grant the same if it appear

that it is not for the sole use of the person

applying, under penally of fifty dollars, to

be recovered as small debts, &c.
