At a Session of the General Assembly of Maryland, begun and held
at the City of Annapolis, on the first Wednesday of January,
being the seventh day of said month, in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and fifty-two, and ended the thirty-
first day of May of said year.

	HIS EXCELLENCY, E. LOUIS LOWE, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR. THE FOLLOWING LAWS WERE ENACTED, TO WIT:
	CHAPTER 1. AN ACT to provide for Holding a Special Term of the Circuit Court for Somerset County.	1852. CHAP. 1. Passed Jan. 16, 1852.
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the Circuit judge of the eighth ju- dicial circuit be, and he is hereby authorised, to hold a term of the Circuit Court for Somerset county, to com- mence on Tuesday the twenty-seventh day of January, eighteen hundred and fifty-two.	Special term.
	SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said court at the said special term, shall have power and authority to try and determine according to law, any indictments, presentments, appeals, civil causes, or other business of any description remaining undetermined, on the dockets of Somerset county court, at the time of the qualification of the circuit judge of the eighth Judicial circuit.
