LAWS OF MARYLAND.

MARYLAND, Sc.
At a Session of the General Assembly of Maryland, begun
and held at the City of Annapolis, on the first Monday
of December, being the 4th day of said month, in the
year of our Lord 1830, and ending on the 19th of Fe-
bruary, 1821,

HIS EXCELLENCY

SAMUEL SPRIGG, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR,

THE FOLLOWING LAWS WERE ENACTED, TO WIT:

CHAPTER I.
An Act for the Relief of Joseph A. Colgar, of Somerset County.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
Joseph S. Colgar, now in confinement in Somerset county gaol,
shall be and he is hereby entitled to receive the benefit of the act,
entitled, An act for the relief of sundry insolvent debtors, passed
at November session eighteen hundred and five, and the several
supplements thereto, according to the terms and conditions pre-
scribed in said acts, without bring obliged to furnish evidence
that he has resided two years within the state of Maryland.

CHAP. II.

An Act to alter the time of holding the Court in Anne-Arundel County.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
from and after the passage of this act the county court of Anne-
Arundel county shall be held on the third Monday of April, and
on the third Monday of October, in each and every year, any
law to the contrary notwithstanding.

CHAP. III.

An Act for the Revaluation of the Real and Personal Property of Saint Mary's
County.

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That

the present commissioners of the tax of Saint Mary's county be
and they are hereby authorised and required, to meet at Leonard
Town in said county, as soon as may bo practicable after the
passage of this act, and then proceed to revalue and reassess the
real and personal property in the said county, agreeably to the
provisions of an act, passed at November session eighteen hun-
dred and twelve, entitled, An act for the valuation of the real
and personal property in the several counties of this state.
