CLXXXVIII.

An Act to repeal all that part of the Constitution and Form of Government as re-
lates to the Division of Washington County into five separate Election Dis-
tricts, and for other purposes.

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That all
that part of the constitution and form of government, whereby
Washington county hath been divided and laid off into five sepa-
rate election districts, be and the same is hereby repealed.
2. And be it enacted, That Washington county shall be divided
into six separate election districts, and that the election for the ad-
ditional district shall be held at the town of Boonsborough.
3. And be it enacted, That the place for holding the elections for
election district number two, in Washington county, shall hereafter
be held at Williams Port.
4. And be it enacted, That if this art shall be confirmed by the
general assembly of Maryland, alter the next election of delegates,
in the first session after such new election, as the constitution and
form of government directs, in such case this act, and the alter-
ations herein contained shall constitute and be considered as a part
of the said constitution and form of government, to all intents and
purposes, any thing therein contained to the contrary notwithstand-
ing.

CHAP. CLXXXIX.

An Act for the revaluation of Real and Personal Property in Queen Anne's
County.

1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
commissioners of the tax for Queen Anne's county be, and they are
hereby authorised and empowered, to meet at the county town of
said county, as soon as may be practicable after the pas-age of this
act, and there proceed to revalue and reassess the real and person-
al property within said county, agreeably to the provisions of an
act passed at November session eighteen hundred and twelve, en-
titled, An act for the valuation of real and personal property in
the several counties of this state.
2. And be it enacted, That the following persons shall be and
they are hereby appointed commissioners of the tax for Queen
Anne's county; Samuel Burgess, Christopher Cox, Daniel C. Hop-
per, John K. B. Emory, and Philip Fidderman, who are hereby au-
thorised and empowered to carry into full effect and operation all
the provisions of this act, as well as the aforesaid act of eighteen
hundred and twelve, entitled, An act for the valuation of real and
personal property in the several counties of this state.

1 An Additional Supplement to the act, entitled, An act authorising a Lottery for
raising a sum of money for the purposes therein mentioned, passed at Novem-
ber session eighteen hundred and nine.

1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the lottery authorised to be drawn, by the act of assembly, entitled,
An act authorising a lottery for raising a sum of money for the pur-
poses therein mentioned, passed at November session eighteen hun-
dred and nine, chapter one hundred and forty-two, be and the same
is hereby exempted from the payment of the tax authorised by the
laws of this state, to be claimed on the prizes to be drawn in this
state.
