491 Hundred Acres as by the s.d Letters Patents Reference being thereunto had May more fully & at Large Appear And Whereas Charles now Lord Baron of Baltimore & Lord Prop.ry of the s.d Province by his Letters Patents Under the Great Seal of the s.d Province bearing Date on or about the Second Day of October which was in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred & twenty one upon a Warrant before that time Obtained by the said Jacob Henderson to Resurvey the s.d tract of Land Called Catton & in the Resurvey thereof to Include all Surplus Land Contained within the Originall Bounds thereof & to Add what Vacant Land should be found Contiguous thereto did give grant & Confirm unto the s.d Jacob Henderson his heirs & Assignes for Ever All the af.d Tract of Land with the Surplus Land therein Contained & the Vacant Land thereunto Added & by the Resurvey thereof reduced into one Intire Tract & Called Bell Air According to the Meets & Bounds thereof in the s.d Last mentioned Letters Patents Described & Expressed & Said to Contain therein One thousand four hundred & tenn Acres more or Less as by the s.d Last mentioned Letters Patents Reference being thereunto had may more fully & at Large Appear And Whereas by Indenture of Bargaine & Sale bearing Date on or about the first Day of January which was in the Year of Our Lord One thousand Seven hundred & Eight And made or mentioned to be made Between Charles Carroll of Ann Arundell County Esq.r and Mary his Wife of the one Part & Collonell Henry Ridgly of Prince Georges County Gentleman of the Other Part He the s.d Charles Carroll for the Considerations therein Mentioned did give grant Bargain Sell Alien & make Over unto the s.d Henry Ridgely his heirs & assignes one hundred Acres of Land out of a Tract of Land Called Enfeild Chase Originally Granted the first Day of October in the year of our Lord Seven Sixteen hundred & Eighty three unto John Lewelin for sixteen hundred acres Lying in Prince Georges County the said One hundred acres begining at a Bounded Red Oak of the said Enfeild Chase being the first Bounder of the s.d Land Called Catton & Running such Courses & bounded by Such Metes as in the Said Deed of Bargain & Sale are Described & Expressed as by the s.d Deed of Bargain & Sale Reference being thereunto had may more (fully) |
