       hand paid by the said Charles Carroll the Receipt whereof is
       hereby acknowledged and for Divers other good Causes and
       Considerations him the said Thomas Slade in this behalf moving
       Hath granted Bargained Sold Released and Confirmed and
       by these Presents Doth Grant Bargain Sell release and
       Confirm unto the said Charles Carroll in his actual Possession
       by force of an Indenture of Bargain and Sale thereof made
       bearing Date the Day next before the Date of these Presents
       and of the statute for Transferring of uses into Possession
       being All that Tract or Parcel of Land Called Slade's Camp
       lying in Baltimore County upon the Northside of Patapscoe
       River being Part of Hunting Ridge Beginning at a bounded
       red Oak of James Murrey's Land Called Atholl Standing
       on a Level and running North West one hundred fifty one
       Perches to a bound Hiccory then North East Two hundred
       Perches to a bounded Elme then South East one hundred fifty
       one Perches to Murrey's line then south West with Murrey's
       line to the first bound Tree Containing one hundred Eighty eight
       Acres of Land more or less with the appurtenances and all
       ways Waters Profits improvements Buildings and Advantages
       to the same belonging and the Reversions Remainders
       Rents and Services thereof or incident thereunto, To Have
       and to Hold the said Land and Premisses abovementioned
       and every Part thereof with the appurtenances unto the said
       Charles Carroll and his heirs for ever To the intent and
       Purpose that the said Charles Carroll shall and may become
       Perfect Tenant of the Freehold of the said Land and Premisses
       and shall and may stand and be seized thereof until a Good and
       Perfect Common Recovery with Double Vouchers over may
       be duly had suffered and Executed of the said Land and Premisses
       according to the usual Course of Common Recoveries for the
       Assurance of Lands in such Cases used and accustomed And
                                                                                    (thereupon)
