       Assigns for ever and to and for no other use interest intent or purpose whatsoever
       And the said Charles Homewood for himself his heirs Executors and Adm.rs
       hereby Covenants and agrees to and with the said John Brice his heirs and
       Assigns that he the said Charles Homewood and his heirs the afs.d several
       Tracts or parcells of Land each and every of them with their ^each^ and every
       of their Appurtenances unto him the said John Brice his heirs and assigns
       as well against him the said Charles Homewood and his heirs as also against
       all manner of persons whatsoever shall and will well and truly warrant and for
       ever defend by these presents provided always and it is the tue ^true^ intent and Meaning
       of these presents and the parties to the same that if the said Charles Homewood
       his heirs Executors Adm.rs or Assigns do and shall well and truly pay or cause
       to be paid unto the said John Brice his Heirs or assigns the aforesaid Sum of One
       thousand pounds Current Money with legal Interest for the Same at or upon
       the tenth day of May which shall be in the year of our Lord seventeen  
       hundred and Sixty one then these presents and every clause Article and
       covenant shall be void and of no Effect to all intents and purposes as fully
       as if the same had never been made any thing herein before Contained to the
       Contrary in any wise Notwithstanding and the said Charles Homewood for
       himself his heirs Executors and Administrators further covenants and Agrees
       to and with the said John Brice his heirs and assigns that he the said Charles
       Homewood either by himself Servants Slaves Hirelings or any other person or
       persons whatsoever with his permission or procurement shall not Commit any
       waste or destruction of any kind soever on the afd ^afd^ Severall Tracts or parcel ^Parcells of^
       Land or either of them or on any part or parcell of them any or either of them during
       the afs.d Term of years limitted for the payment of the afs.d Sum of one thousand
       pounds Current Money and the said Charles Homewood for himself his
       heirs Executors Adm.rs & Assigns further covenants and agrees to and with
       the said John Brice his heirs and assigns that he the said Charles Homewood
       his heirs Executors Adm.rs or assigns shall and will well and truly pay or Cause
       to be paid unto the said John Brice his heirs Executors Adm.rs or Assigns the
       full & Just sum of one thousand pounds Current Money afs.d with legal
       Interest for the Same from the date hereof at or when the tenth day of May Which
       shall be in the year of our Lord seventeen hundred & sixty one In witness whereof
       the parties to these presents have hereunto Interchangeably Set their hands
       and seals the day and year first above written
