1938                                            CERTIFICATIONS

Section 2 to abolish the office of the Surveyor of Baltimore City AND OF THE
SEVERAL COUNTIES and providing for the submission of this amendment to
the qualified voters of the State of Maryland for their adoption or rejection.

AND IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that at said election, 520,929 votes were
cast for the adoption of said Chapter 512 and 183,760 votes were cast against the
adoption of said Chapter 512, the said Chapter 512 of the Acts of 1971 has
therefore been ratified by the duly qualified voters of the State of Maryland.

GIVEN Under My Hand and the Seal of the State Administrative Board
of Election Laws of the State of Maryland, Done at the City of Annapolis, this
30th day of November, In the Year of Our Lord, One Thousand, Nine Hundred
and Seventy-two.

1972, CHAPTER 363 - Legislative Membership and Apportionment

STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS

ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23-11 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland, the State Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify
that at the General Election held in the State of Maryland on November 7, 1972,
an Act known as Chapter 363 of the Acts of 1972 was submitted to the voters of
the State of Maryland under the provisions of Article XIV of the Constitution of
the State of Maryland, said Act being as follows:

AN ACT to withdraw and repeal Chapter 356 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1971 and to propose amendments to certain sections of the
Constitution of Maryland by repealing and re-enacting, with amendments, Sections
2,3,4 and 5 of Article III, title "Legislative Department," establishing the
membership and the districts for the election of members of the General Assembly
and generally relating thereto, to provide for THE MANNER OF
IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS PLAN and making general provisions therefor,
and providing for the submission of this amendment to the qualified voters of the
State for their adoption or rejection.

AND IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that at said election, 650,292 votes were
cast for the adoption of said Chapter 363 and 209,623 votes were cast against the
adoption of said Chapter 363, the said Chapter 363 of the Acts of 1972 has
therefore been ratified by the duly qualified voters of the State of Maryland.
