No. 5

(House Joint Resolution 20)
A House Joint Resolution concerning

Harford County Volunteer Fire Companies

FOR the purpose of commending the volunteer fire
companies of Harford County.

The members of the General Assembly of Maryland wish
to commend the volunteer fire companies of Harford County
for their long years of valorous service to the residents
of Harford County.

Ever since the first volunteer fire company was
formed in Harford County, the record of service of these
community minded men and women who give of themselves to
insure the safety of their fellow citizens has been in
the highest tradition of firefighting.

Their many acts of courage and self—sacrifice are
all too well known to be enumerated individually, and
their farsighted training program has insured that future
generations of firefighters will be ready and able to
meet the needs of Harford County.

The volunteer fire companies and their chiefs that
we commend today are as follows:

Level Fire Dept.                            Delta-Cardiff Fire Dept.
