Maryland, Done at the City of Annapolis, this 30th day of
November, In the Year of Our Lord, One Thousand, Nine
Hundred and Seventy—four.

RETURN OF BOARD OF CANVASSERS
for Talbot County, Maryland
of Special Election Held on November 13, 1973

FOR CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS AND REFERRED LAWS

WE HEREBY CERTIFY, That the Board of Supervisors of
Elections for Talbot County, Maryland, having assembled
at the Court House of said County and State, in Easton,
on Wednesday, November 14, 1973, did, between the hours
of 10 o'clock and one o'clock in the afternoon, qualify
as a Board of Canvassers of Elections for Talbot County,
Maryland before John T. Baynard, Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Talbot County, Maryland, by taking the oath
prescribed by law, and did elect Earle B. Wood Chairman
of the Board of Canvassers, and Linda O. H. Sharp
Secretary of the said Board.

The Board of Canvassers of Elections aforesaid upon
being duly organized as aforesaid did open all the
original statements, returns and tally sheets delivered
or transmitted to them and did canvass and add up the
votes and make abstracts and statements thereof of the
votes cast at the Election held on Tuesday, November 13,
1973, in said County in the several districts and
precincts thereof, and we do hereby certify and state
that the whole number of votes cast in said County for
and against Constitutional Amendments and Referred Laws,
were as follows:

REFERENDUM QUESTION

Adoption of a Charter Form of Government for Talbot
County under the Charter prepared and proposed by The
Talbot County Charter Board, and duly published, in
accordance with the Provisions of Article 11—A, Section
1.A of the Maryland Constitution.
