Maryland fs
       By vertue of a warrant of resurvey bearing date the 4.th day of May was Granted by  
       the R.tt hono.ble Charles &c unto M.r John Hynson of Kent County gentl directed to the surveyo.r
       Gen.ll of the Province or his Deputy being in pursuance of a former Grant unto the said
       Hinson and M.r Joseph Wickes of the same County gentl bearing date the Twentyeth of May
       1674 To Resurvey three seaverall Tracts of Land in the said County Lyeing on the Eastern
       Neck Containing one Thousand foure hundred Acres of Land According to Its ancient
       bounds and the same to Divide into Two Equall parts betweene the said Hinson and the
       said Wickes

    These may humbly Certify that I Edward Sweatnam sworne surveyo.r by the hono.ble Vincent Lowe
       Esq.r survey.r gen.ll of the same Province to Resurvey and Divide the said three seav.ll tracts and afores.d
       have Laid out for the said John Hynson the twelfth day of June 1680 A Tract of Land Called
       Hinsons Division formerly The markett place and Elk Neck Lyeing on the East side of
       Chesepeake bay in Kent County in Chester River Begining att a bounded Locust tree standing
       att the Landing place of the plantacon of the said John Hynson neare a pointe of Marsh
       and by south Fifty six perches And from the west and by south Line And by a Line drawne
       south west sixty perches to a marked witch Elme tree standing on the side of a high Clift
       And from the said Witch Elme tree by a Line drawne south south west Two hundred and
       Fifty perches along the said Easterne bay side to a Logg sticking in the marsh neare the
       sandy beach and from the said Logg by a Line drawne south south east sixteen pches
       Therefrom the End of the south south east Line by a direct Line drawne to a bounded greate white
       oake tree standing on the Edge of the woods by the said Marsh side And from the said
       greate white oake by a Line drawne East half a point southerly being the Line of division
       between the said John Hynson and the said Joseph Wickes Untill It Intersect the water of a
       Creek Runing out of Chester River Called Long Neck Creeke Then runing on the north
       side of the said Long neck Creek till It meetes a Line Drawne south south west from
       a bounded Locust tree standing on a point Called Elk point being the mouth of a Creek
       Called Souths Creeke Three hundred and Eighty perches Then from the said Locust tree
       standing att the said Elke Pointe by a Line drawne west and by south one hundred and
       Ninety perches to a bounded Locust logg sticking in an Island of small Persimon bushes
       in a Marsh Leadeing to the Narrowes and from the bounded Locust logg at the End of
       the west and by south line by a Line drawne south south west Two hundred and five pches
       And from the End of the south south west Line by a Line drawne North west Two hundred
       twenty and six perches along a small Creek side Called John Hynsons Calfe pasture Creek
       to the first bounded Locust tree Bounded on the west by the said Easterne bay on the
       south by the East and half a point southerly Line on the east by Chester River And on
       the North by the last west and by south Line and the aforesaid Calfe pasture Creeke
       Containing and Now Laid out for Eight hundred seaventy ^six^ Acres more or Lesse To bee
       held of the Mannour of Baltemore

Now followes the Names of those that were Impowered to have Inspeccon unto the survey and for
       direcon of the Line & Division as alsoe the names of the Juro.rs Impannelled upon the
       Land for the same purpose According to the said speciall Warrant
