       Parliament to be taken instead of the oaths of Allegiance
       and Supremacy and the Oath menconed in the afd act
       entituled An Act to declare the alteration in the oath
       appointed to be taken by the act entituled An Act for
       the further security of his majestys person and the succession
       of the Crown in the protestant Line and for extinguishing
       the hopes of the pretented Prince of Wales and all other
       pretenders and their open and secret abettors and for
       declareing the Associaation to be determined As also
       make and subscribe the foremenconed declaration which
       Oaths and declaration you shall Commissionate fitt
       persons under our Seal of Maryland to tender and
       Administer unto them and untill the same shall be
       so taken and subscribed no person shall be Capable of
       sitting though ellected And wee do hereby declare y.t
       the persons so ellected and Qualifyed shall be called
       and deemed the generall assembly of that our province
       And that you the said John Hart with the Consent
       of our said Councill and Assembly or the major part
       of them respectively shall have full power and
       authority to make constitute and ordaine laws statutes
       and ordinances for the publick Peace welfare and
       Good Government of our said province and of the
       people and inhabitants thereof and such others
       as shall resort thereto and for the benefitt of us
       our heirs and successors which said laws statutes
       and ordinances are not to be repugnant but as
       neer as may be agreeable to the laws and statutes
       of this our kingdom of Great Brittain Provided
       that all such laws statutes and ordinances of w.t
       Nature or duration soever be within three months
       or sooner after the makeing thereof transmitted unto
       us under our seal of Maryland for our approbation
