TO EXTEND DEADLINE FOR PAYMENT OF TAXES

RESOLUTION of the Mayor and Council of Washington
Grove, Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority of
Article 11-E of the Constitution of the State of Maryland
and Section 13 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, 1957 edition as amended, entitled "Municipal
Corporations," to amend the charter of Washington Grove,
this amendment to be entitled "AMENDMENT TO EXTEND DEADLINE
FOR PAYMENT OF TAXES," by repealing and re-enacting, with
amendments, Section 49, "WHEN TAXES ARE OVERDUE," of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Montgomery County, 1976 edition
as amended, this amendment to extend the tax payment
deadline.

[Section 84-49 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Montgomery County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

Effective Date July 1, 1977]

TOWN OF WILLIAMSPORT, MARYLAND TO

AMEND THE CORPORATE CHARTER, TO CHANGE THE

TERM OF THE COUNCIL AND

ELECTED AND APPOINTED OFFICIALS

RESOLUTION of the Council of the Town of Williamsport,
Maryland, adopted pursuant to Article XI-E, Section 4, of
the Constitution of the State of Maryland, entitled
"MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS, PROCEDURE FOR ADOPTION, AMENDMENT
OR REPEAL OF CHARTERS"; and pursuant to Article XXIII-A of
the Annotated Code of the Public General Laws of Maryland,
entitled "Corporations, Municipal, Charter Amendments", as
said sections were enacted by Chapter 423 of the Laws of
Maryland, 1955, and subsequent amendments thereto; to amend
the now existing Section 5 of the Corporate Charter of the
Town of Williamsport as adopted July 8, 1957, and
subsequently amended entitled, THE COUNCIL, 5.Number of
Councilmen; Selection; Term, and to amend said Corporate
Charter by adding 5(a). Termination of Office by Operation
of Law.

WHEREAS; the council of the Town of Williamsport deems
it to the test interests of the Town of Williamsport and the
community to amend said Charter.

[Section 39-5 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Washington County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.
