AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to repeal Section 1-200-1(a) of the
Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and
Supplements), Title 1, "Administration", Subtitle 2,
"Personnel", Article I, "Exempt Service", and enact new
Section 1-200.1(a) in lieu thereof to stand in the
place of the Section repealed; to repeal Section
1-211 (a), (b) and (c) of said Code, Title, Subtitle,
Article II, "Classified Service", and enact new Section
1-211(a) and (b) in lieu thereof to stand in the place
of the Section repealed; to repeal and re—enact, with
amendments, Section 1—211.1 of said Code, Title,
Subtitle and Article; to repeal Section 1-211.3(a) of
said Code, Title, Subtitle and Article and enact new
Section 1—211.3(a) in lieu thereof to stand in the
place of the Section repealed; to repeal and re—enact,
with amendments, Section 1-214(b) and (c) of said Code,
Title, Subtitle and Article; to repeal Section 1—2 15 of
said Code, Title, Subtitle and Article and enact new
Section 1—215 in lieu thereof to stand in the place of
the Section repealed; to repeal Sections 1—215.1 and
1-215.2 of said Code, Title, Subtitle and Article and
enact new Sections 1—215.1 and 1—215-2 in lieu thereof
to stand in the place of the Sections repealed; to
repeal Section 1—216 of said Code, Title, Subtitle and
Article and enact new Section 1—216 in lieu thereof to
stand in the place of the Section repealed; to repeal
Section 1—216.2 of said Code, Title, Subtitle and
Article; to repeal Section 1-217 of said Code, Title,
Subtitle and Article and enact new Section 1—217(A) AND
(B) in lieu thereof to stand in the place of the
Section repealed; to change certain definitions, to

establish salary grades and minimum qualification

requirements for said positions TO CREATE CERTAIN NEW
POSITIONS AND TO ESTABLISH THE SALARY GRADES AND
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR SAID POSITIONS;
and matters generally related thereto-

AN ORDINANCE to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
Sections 6-200(g) and 6—212(c) of the Anne Arundel
County Code (1967 Edition and Supplement), Title 6,
"Crimes and Misdemeanors", Subtitle 2, "Animals", to
change certain provisions relating to advance payment
of fines for certain offenses, and generally relating
to the regulation of animals in Anne Arundel County.
