maintenance electricians as herein defined, and for
maintaining or servicing or the placing, installing and
operating electrical wires, appliances, apparatus or
construction in, upon and about buildings in the said City
of Baltimore, and when so adopted, such rules and
regulations shall have the same force and effect as if
herein contained, and the rules of said board shall also
provide for the giving of timely notice of such meetings to
all those who shall have made application for a license as
herein provided, and said board shall give in writing to the
chief of the municipal electrical inspectors of Baltimore
City a detailed statement of all the licenses issued,
renewed or revoked at any meeting of said board.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

AN ACT concerning

Fairs and Carnivals — Notice

FOR the purpose of requiring the notice of the opening of a
fair or carnival given to the Commissioner of Labor and
Industry to be written; increasing the number of days
of notice; and requiring notice of subsequent changes
in itinerary scheduling.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 89 — Division of Labor and Industry

Section 72(b)(2)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1969 Replacement Volume and 1977 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section (s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 89 - Division of Labor and Industry

72.

(b) (2) An owner or lessee of any fair or carnival
shall notify the Commissioner IN WRITING at least [five
working] 30 days before the opening of the carnival or fair
at each location. IF, AFTER THE NOTIFICATION, THE OWNER OR
LESSEE CHANGES HIS ITINERARY SCHEDULE OF LOCATIONS OR DATES,
