ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY

Bill No. 164-79

AN ORDINANCE to repeal and reenact, with amendments,
Section 14A-102 (o) of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967
Edition and Supplements), Title 14A, "Public Ethics",
Subtitle 1, "General Provisions", to define the word
"lobbyist" and matters generally related thereto.

Approved February 15, 1980.

Bill No. 175-79

AN ORDINANCE to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
Sections 12-1900 (b), 12-1902, 12-1903 (f) and 12-1911 of
the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements),
Title 12, "Licenses, Permits and Franchises", Subtitle 19,
"Gas Code", and to add new Section 12-1904 (c) to the same
Code, Title and Subtitle, to follow immediately after
Section 12-1904 (b) thereof, to repeal Section 12-1922 of
said Code, Title and Subtitle, and to enact new Section
12-1922 to stand in place of the section so repealed, to
adopt a new Anne Arundel County Fuel Gas Code with certain
amendments, to provide certain inspection authority, to
establish certain inspection fees, to provide certain civil
enforcement remedies for certain violations, to change the
number of meetings required of the Gas Commission, and
generally relating to the regulation of gas equipment and
uses in Anne Arundel County.

Bill No. 178-79

AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to add new Sections 11-500
through 11-503 to the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition
and Supplements), Title 11, "Health and Welfare", to be
under the new Subtitle 5, "Drug Paraphernalia", to follow
immediately after Section 11-415, to prohibit the sale, or
possession with intent to sell or otherwise distribute, drug
paraphernalia and to enforce that prohibition through civil
proceedings for injuction and forfeiture.

WHEREAS, the Anne Arundel County Council finds that
there has been a proliferation of devices within this County
designed, intended and being offered for sale to facilitate
the ingestion and human consumption of dangerous substances
including marijuana, hashish and cocaine; and

WHEREAS, the Anne Arundel County Council finds that the
