HARRY HUGHES, Governor                                        2249 (ii) Closing the licensed premises for more
than 30 days without the board's permission. The board may allow
a closing of the licensed premises for a reasonable period of
time. SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the provisions concerning a signed statement by an applicant concerning information relating to felony conviction of that applicant or an
applicant or any of the stockholders of a corporation that is
applying for the use of an alcoholic beverages license or has the
use of an alcoholic beverages license in Prince George's County
and is applying for a renewal of that license may not be applied
or interpreted to be applied to any license granted or renewed by
the Prince George's County Board of License Commissioners prior
to July 1, 1983. SECTION 3 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1983. Approved May 31, 1983. CHAPTER 688 (House Bill 1446) AN ACT concerning Creation of a State Debt - Glen Burnie Urban Renewal FOR the purpose of authorizing the creation of a State Debt in
the amount of $1,000,000 $2,000,000, the proceeds to be used
as a grant to the governing body of Anne Arundel County for
the purpose of assisting in the urban renewal effort by
construction of a parking facility to improve the parking
arrangements of the Arundel Center North Building; and
providing generally for the issue and sale of bonds
evidencing the loan. SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That: (1) The Board of Public Works may borrow money and incur
indebtedness on behalf of the State of Maryland through, a State
loan to be known as the Glen Burnie Urban Renewal Loan of 1983 in
the aggregate principal amount of $1,000,000 $2,000,000. This
loan shall be evidenced by the issuance and sale of State general
obligation bonds authorized by a resolution of the Board of
Public Works and issued, sold and delivered in accordance with
the provisions of §§ 19 to 23 of Article 31 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1976 Replacement Volume and 1982 Supplement, as
amended from time to time).
