E. Prohibitions and Limitations on Times when Certain Gear
and Methods May be Used.

(1) During the period between May 1 and October 31,
inclusive, a person may not set or fish any gill net within 1,200
feet of any pier that supports either span of the William Preston
Lane Memorial Bridge.

(2) During the period June 1 to October 31,
inclusive, a person may not set or fish any gill net in the
Chesapeake Bay, excluding tributaries, in the area south of a
line drawn from Howell Point to Taylor Island Point in the Upper
Bay and north of a line from Kent Point to Curtis Point in the
mouth of West River.

(3) During the period March 15 to June 1, inclusive,
a person may not set any gill net from Friday midnight to Sunday
midnight in any river or area that is a striped bass spawning
river or area.

(4) During the period April 10 to May 31, inclusive,
gill nets, including stake nets and drift nets, may not be set or
fished in the spawning reaches established in paragraph B. of
this special enacting Section or the striped bass spawning rivers
and areas. Striped bass caught incidentally in permitted gears
set in the spawning reaches shall be immediately returned to the
water.

(5) A person may not set or fish an anchor gill net
within the area of the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries north
of the William Preston Lane Memorial Bridge or in the spawning
rivers and areas established in Paragraph A. of this special
enacting Section from March 1 through May 31, inclusive.

F. Prohibitions and Limitations on Striped Bass which May
be Possessed.

(1) A person may not catch, sell, land, offer to buy
or sell, expose for sale, or possess any of the following:

(a) Striped bass, or hybrids of striped bass,
less than 14 inches total length or more than 32 inches total
length, caught in the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries.

(b) Striped bass, or hybrids of striped bass,
less than 24 inches total length, caught in Maryland's Atlantic
Ocean and adjacent coastal bays.

(c) Striped bass, or hybrids of striped bass,
of any size caught in the Atlantic Ocean and adjacent coastal
bays during the period March 1 through May 31, inclusive.

(2) Notwithstanding, paragraph F(l)(a) of this
special enacting Section, one striped bass, or hybrid of striped
bass, over 32 inches total length per day, caught with hook and
