18-1404.

(b) (5) Repayment shall be made to the State within 6 years
after the repayment period begins and follow a repayment schedule
established by the State Scholarship Board. The State
Scholarship Board may waive or defer repayment in the event of
disability or extended sickness which prevents the recipient from
fulfilling the teaching obligation required under [§ 18-403] §
18-1403.

18-1405.

(c)  Deletion of any program as an area of critical shortage
shall not terminate the right of existing recipients to renew
awards under [this subsection] § 18-1403(E).

21-502.

(c) Financial assistance provided under this program may
not duplicate any assistance provided by:

(1)  The Adult Protective Services Program mandated by
[Article 88A of the Code] §§ 14-101 THROUGH 14-404 OF THE FAMILY
LAW ARTICLE; or

(2)  The [Medicaid Personal Care Program mandated by
this article] MARYLAND MEDICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM UNDER TITLE 15,
SUBTITLE 1 OF THE HEALTH - GENERAL ARTICLE.

Subtitle 2. State [Hospitals] HOSPITAL CENTERS and Juvenile

Institutions

22-201.

(a)  There is an education coordinating council for State
[hospitals] HOSPITAL CENTERS and juvenile institutions [which].
THE COUNCIL is within the State Department of Education for
administrative and budgetary purposes.

(b)  (3) The following officials shall serve ex officio and
each may designate someone to serve in his place:

(i) The State Superintendent of Schools;

(ii) The Secretary of Health and Mental
Hygiene;

(iii) The Director of the Juvenile Services
Administration;

(iv) The Assistant Secretary for Mental Health
[and], MENTAL RETARDATION, Addictions, AND DEVELOPMENTAL
DISABILITIES;
